#S5E3 Real Estate Management in the Digital Age | Sharing by Marcus Leung (JLL)

Episode 3 of Season 5 aims to discuss the topic of property management, specifically focusing on commercial leasing. Our episode is titled “Real Estate Management in the Digital Age”, accompanied by a very special guest, Mr Marcus Leung, who works in Office Leasing Advisory, Workplace Strategy & Change Management at Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL). He is a former president of BEMS and a proud alumnus of NUS’ Bachelor of Science in Project and Facilities Management. He has an extensive background in workplace advisory and project coordination.
In this session, he will be sharing with us about his journey into the real estate industry, key takeaways from his time in the property management industry, as well as the current issues in leasing and workplace management and the future of digitalisation in real estate. We will also be discussing the requirements and skillsets needed for students and professionals alike to participate in the property management industry, from organisational values to workforce expectations.

#S5 E2 Development for a Sustainable City | Sharing by Rica Teo (CDL)

Episode 2 of Season 5 aims to demystify the world of the built environment, specifically in the area of sustainable development. Our episode is titled “Development for a Sustainable City”, accompanied by a very special guest, Ms Rica Teo, who is a management executive for City Developments Limited (CDL), a NUS valedictorian, and a proud alumna of NUS’ Bachelor of Science in Project and Facilities Management (PFM). She has an extensive background in green building and decarbonisation projects and developments.
 
In this session, she will be sharing with us about her journey into the built environment industry and key takeaways from her time as a management executive, as well as the current issues in green real estate development and the future of sustainable real estate. We will also be discussing the requirements and skillsets needed for students to participate in the sustainable development industry, from organisational values to workforce expectations. The episode concludes by addressing the issues of sustainable development in the area of the built environment.

#S5 E1 Smart FM for a Digital Green Singapore | Sharing by Deputy Director, Joanne Koh (BCA)

In the Season 5 premiere, we explore “Smart FM for a Digital Green Singapore” with a special guest Ms. Joanne from BCA. The episode dives into how technology and sustainability are reshaping Facilities Management—from digital tools like BIM, IoT, digital twins, and AI, to the evolving expectations of the modern FM workforce.
Our guest shares their journey into the built environment, key lessons from internships, and what a typical Smart FM role looks like today.
